Virtual Adoption
The parrots here a Fidobird's Avian Rescue will remain at our sanctuary for life and will never be sold or re-adopted. By virtually sponsoring a parrot at our sanctuary, you will allow us to provide more enrichment such as toys, foraging products, habitat improvements and assist with veterinary expenses.
Birds available for virtual adoption are listed in our adoption form and you can view their pictures along with a "snapshot" of their personalities in the slideshow to the right
Virtual Adoptions can be by the month and/or by the year. It takes approximately $40.00 per bird per month to care for each bird. This amount includes veterinarian care, fresh food and pellets, toys, maintenance supplies, administrative costs, office supplies and habitat construction. You can also make a one time donation towards the care of any of our birds.
Kirmy is a green cheeked conure and his best friend is Essex a Dusky Headed Conure. Kirmy is a sweet bird who gets along with everyone.
Essex is a Dusky Headed Conure. Essex is kind of the unofficial mascot of the sanctuary! He is very vocal and has an opinion on just about everything.
We call Toby & Pharma the "Odd Couple". Pharma (orange winged amazon) has been with us the longest and when Toby (Timneh African Grey) came to our sanctuary it was instant bonding and they have been best friends since.
